"Angie"

Yesterdays workout was "Angie". For those that don't know - "Angie" is 100 Pullups, 100 Pushups, 100 Situps, 100 Squats - all for time (not partitioned, you must complete the first exercise before moving to the next). I've been working my way back into doing pullups consistently, so I was a little nervous about this WOD. Last week we did a WOD that was 50 Pullups & 50 Burpees for time, and the pullups kicked my butt. My plan for "Angie" was to complete 50 Kipping Pullups as Rx and finish the last 50 with the smallest band we have. But yesterday I finished 50 pullups a whole MINUTE faster than last week, and I felt amazing...so I kept going as Rx. =) Here's the aftermath -

...And the other hand looks almost as bad. I decided to stop at 90 pullups because I've learned that killing my hands in one WOD will only lead to several weeks of poor training. It wasn't worth it to me. Besides, I just completed 90 pullups....a personal best.

Now I'm ready to conquer "Murph" on Memorial Day as Rx!! Hope to see some of you there suffering with me.
